Term And Condition
- Booking must be made in the prescribed form. Change of booking date or transfer of booked facility is not allowed. Each booking date is treated separately. All applications are subject to the terms and conditions contained in the application form and herein. For purpose of effective communication, the signatory of the form shall be deemed to be the only contact person on behalf of the application.
- The management reserves the right to transfer the booked facility to another unoccupied facility should urgency / request by the BOT/MMB related activities.
- The official rental timings for the usage of facilities at annex building is from 9am - 10pm.
- The usage of booked Facilities at the Annex Building should only be within the rented hours.
- Booking shall be confirmed only upon full payment. The management is entitled to treat the booking as cancelled if the applicant fails to make full payment within 7 working days upon receiving the invoice.
Payment Methods:
- Nets/Cash payable at Mosque Office Counter.
- Cheque payable to “MASJID SULTAN TRUST FUND”.
- Bank Transfer (Account Number given only upon request)
- No refund of fees will be made if booking is cancelled less than 2 weeks before the date of the function.
- 50% of the fees will be deducted if cancellation is made by notice not less than 2 weeks before the date of the function.
- All fees are subject to 9% GST.
- Access to the use of the area and facilities will be granted to the applicant 30 minutes for setup only prior to the period of time as per booking. The management is entitled to charge an additional fee for use beyond the period of booking on per hour basis or part thereof. If the applicant request for extension of time, he shall inform the duty officer well before the end of the period.
- Application shall not conduct any activities repugnant and contrary to Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamaah principles, the Syariah or any activities inciting social, religious and racial disharmony. The Management reserve the right to terminate and ask the applicant to cease such activities immediately.
- For religious talks, applicant must submit the Miscellaneous Work Pass (MWP) for foreign speakers or a proof of Asatizah Recognition Scheme (ARS) status for local speakers. The management is entitled to treat the booking as cancelled if the applicant fails to provide the necessary document.
- The applicant shall not associate the management and/or any members of the Mosque staff/or committees with the activities unless with prior consent.
- The applicant shall keep the area clean and tidy at all times. The applicant shall make his own arrangement to dispose of any poster, banners, backdrop, etc. at the end of event.
- Food and drinks are NOT allowed to be served and consumed in the mosque & annex building.
- Sales of any materials, books, food, drinks etc. are not allowed except in designated area with the approval of the Management and subject to payment of fees. Booths setup shall not obstruct the passageways to the VIP Room and Meeting Room.
- Applicant shall not tamper with any electrical, PA system and other equipment belonging to the Mosque and shall be held liable for any damages plus the cost of repair for any breach of this rule.
- Applicant is warned that the building is protected by fire alarm system connected to CISCO monitoring, especially heat and smoke detectors. The applicant shall be held liable to all cost to reset the system if the alarm is triggered due to the applicant’s negligence and misused of the area.
- Applicant must inform and consult the Management if they wish to bring in any decoration, props, equipment, apparatus which will likely affect the present set up of the facilities. The stage backdrop banner shall not be more than 15ft X 3ft.
- Any reference to the applicant herein includes his servant, agents and guests unless he absolves himself from any breach of duty and negligence.
- The Management reserves the right at any time to impose any special condition, add, and amend any of these rules before allowing the applicant to use the area and the facilities.
- Rental for the Auditorium are subjected to cleaning fee of $100.00 and refundable damage fee of $300.00. However, if the damages found to exceed $300.00, the applicant will bear the full cost of repair.
- No soliciting of funds within the mosque’s premises.
- The Management reserves the right to reject or cancel the event if the applicant did not meet its terms and conditions stated in the facilities application form and contradicts to the security and safety of Sultan Mosque.
- The Management will not be responsible for any mishaps, damages, lost or theft while in the vicinity of the premises incurred by the applicant or guests.
